Two Ingredient Dog Treats (could be 3)
So this is our puppy Rosie. She will be 11 months old tomorrow!
I have had dogs my entire life, a full size dachshund when I was little (Pilu), then a shih tzu (Fluffy)
all through elementary school, middle school and high school, and a chocolate lab (Maggie) after that.
My husband never had any pets, so it was crazy when we decided to get one. Our kids were so excited.
♥ We got extremely lucky as she is so good. ♥
Her name is actually Rosie Cupcake and she is a miniature dachshund, weighing in at a whopping 7 1/2 pounds.
She is 7 1/2 pounds of muscle though, that’s for sure.
She rarely barks and loves to cuddle, and her ears are almost always flipping inside out.

I saw somewhere online about making dog biscuits out of baby food and thought I’d give it a try.
Ingredients
2 small containers of pureed fruits or vegetables (no sugar added and make sure it is foods they can have ie – DOES NOT CONTAIN GRAPES for example)
2 cups baby oatmeal cereal
Directions
Mix 8 oz of pureed baby food (I used Sweet Potato, Apple & Pumpkin) and 2 cups of oatmeal cereal.
I also added a few dashes of cinnamon (here is a 3rd ingredient, that is optional)
Press it out with your hands and cut into fun shapes.
Or you could roll them into little balls and flatten them like cookies.
Put on parchment on a baking sheet. I got 8 bones out of the amount I used.
They are pretty big for Rosie, so we give her 1/2 at a time.
I’ll probably put some in the freezer to have on hand for later.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Then I let cool in the oven so they could get harder. (totally up to you)
Looks pretty good, right? So good you might want to try them.
That’s fine if you do, totally edible.
And here is Rosie enjoying her treat. And a close up of my pretty girl.
That last one, you can see her tongue 🙂 ♥
When I broke one open to give her a piece,
they are actually hollow inside, not sure how that happened.
Hope your pup enjoys!
Here are some more cute pics of our pup. Such a cutie pie!
