Cookies & Cream Rice Krispie Treats

If you need a quick to make treat and
don’t want to heat up your oven (because your air conditioning
is broken and no one is coming to fix it for 2 more days, blah, blah, blah),
try these Cookies & Cream Rice Krispie treats.
They are crunchy, chewy, sweet and delicious.
You take your standard Rice Krispie treat and
add some delicious toppings to make it even more yummy!
Make sure you line your pan with parchment so it makes it easy to get out. Voila!

Ingredients:

6 cups Rice Krispies
10 ounces marshmallows
4 Tablespoons SALTED butter
10 Oreo Cookies – chopped
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup sprinkles

Directions:

Ready? How easy is this – melt the butter in a big pan and
add the marshmallows until melted.
Fold in all your ingredients and spread in a
pan lined with parchment paper.
Let cool & cut…. I sweat, that’s it!

Melt the butter.

Add the marshmallows and cook until melted.

While that is melting, chop the Oreos.
You could also use golden Oreos or Graham crackers.

Add the Rice Krispies.

Then the Oreos, and sprinkles.

Add the white and dark chocolate chips.

Fold all together.

Here is my pan lined with parchment.
Pour all the ingredients in the pan.

Spread out with spatula until flat.

Let cool for 2 hours. Lift carefully out of the pan.

Use a sharp knife to make clean cuts.

Cut into squares.

Looks pretty good, right?

♥ Happy Summer! You can enjoy this treat anywhere – picnic, pool, or just your kitchen counter 🙂
